Hello! English Club
a place to provide financial support and connect with students learning English at Escuela Integrada
Opportunities exist for a stable income in Guatemala, but more and more of these jobs require the ability to speak English. During 2017-2020, more than 48,000 jobs went unfilled because they required the English language. We know that to truly break the cycle of poverty, our students need access to a stable income in their future. This is why GRACES has decided to raise funds specifically to support English language skills at Escuela Integrada.
By joining the Hello! English Club you are supporting the future of the students we serve.
The Hello! English Club funds English language instruction every day at Escuela Integrada for students in 7th, 8th and 9th grade, provided in partnership with Academia de Lideres Futuros. It also funds the elementary school English teacher’s salary, English language classes for kindergarten through 6th grade once per week and six scholarships for elementary students to participate in an English intensive.
What does it mean to be part of the Hello! English Club?
- Commit to supporting the program with a recurring gift of $25, $50 or $75 per month
- Receive quarterly video updates from students about their English studies
- Participate in opportunities to volunteer as a virtual conversation partner

Purchase Coffee
Support small business with a coffee purchase from Guatemala! Not only does your order support local coffee farmers in Guatemala, but $4 from every bag sold goes right back to Escuela Integrada to fund education for children who live in extreme poverty.
The coffee for this project is from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala, from a small family-run coffee farm in the village of Com. Years ago, many of the men in the village immigrated to the United States in hopes of finding work opportunities after the devastating effects of the civil war in Guatemala.
Since then, the farm has been managed and run by Mayan indigenous women. Petrona, the daughter of the land owner, has been in charge of the coffee farm since she was 14 years old. She has worked effortlessly to produce quality coffee and provide for her family.
We are happy to be able to provide coffee for the low cost of $20 per bag including shipping for any orders of 15 bags or more! New this year, we are able to provide an additional discount for orders of 30 bags or more—this size order will only cost $17 per bag including shipping!
When you place your order, please donate the amount for the number of bags you would like. Below are some sample amounts:
- 15 bags at $20/bag = donation of $300
- 20 bags at $20/bag = donation of $400
- 30 bags at $17/bag = donation of $510
- 50 bags at $17/bag = donation of $850
Please also indicate if you would like the coffee ground or whole bean when it arrives on your doorstep.
