Sip GRACES Coffee on Christmas morning!
GRACES Coffee makes a perfect holiday treat! Shipped directly to your door, this coffee is a great way to show your support for GRACES while enjoying sustainably made Guatemalan coffee.
The coffee for this project is from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala, from a small family-run coffee farm in the village of Com. Years ago, many of the men in the village immigrated to the United States in hopes of finding work opportunities after the devastating effects of the civil war in Guatemala.
Since then, the farm has been managed and run by Mayan indigenous women. Petrona, the daughter of the land owner, has been in charge of the coffee farm since she was 14 years old. She has worked effortlessly to produce quality coffee and provide for her family.
We are happy to be able to provide coffee for the low cost of $20 per bag including shipping for any orders of 15 bags or more. If you purchase 30 bags or more, the price drops to $17 per bag including shipping.
On the order form, please select “ground” or “whole bean,” and indicate how many of each you would like to purchase.
After you place your order, you will be redirected to GRACES’ donations page. Please make a donation in the amount of the number of bags you ordered. Below are some sample amounts:
- 15 bags at $20/bag = donation of $300
- 20 bags at $20/bag = donation of $400
- 30 bags at $17/bag = donation of $510
- 50 bags at $17/bag = donation of $850
The deadline to purchase coffee for guaranteed Christmas arrival is December 1.

A week of celebrations!
GRACES’ annual Supporters Gathering concluded on Friday, Nov. 7, after a week-long celebration of graduations, cultural activities and service. With 36 participants, the gathering was the biggest one to date!
Attendees heard from GRACES staff about Vision Trips, sponsorships, finances, communications, and future goals, along with updates from the leadership at Escuela Integrada, Ahava and Academy of Future Leaders. The week also included a special in-person celebration with 9th grade graduates who are learning English.
“It was an incredible week for our organization, with lots of momentum towards what is to come,” said Hannah Nadeau Girón, executive director of GRACES.
Participants attended graduation ceremonies for kindergarten, 6th grade and 9th grade, where they heard from students and parents about the impact of an education on their families overall economic situation.
“Education unlocks the doors of opportunity here in Guatemala,” Nadeau Girón said. “We can see families’ lives being changed with a new generation.”
Fifteen students graduated from Escuela Integrada. Each student received a scholarship to continue their education in a vocational education program beginning in January.
