Every day, the cooks at Escuela Integrada prepare enough food to feed 180 children, plus teachers and staff, twice per day. Every child receives a nutritious breakfast and lunch, which not only helps them focus in school, but also protects them from the devastating impacts of malnutrition.
In addition to daily meals, GRACES provides food bags for families during the vacation months of November and December, ensuring that children continue to eat even when they are not at school. This is critical to their physical development and prevents stunting and malnutrition.
