COVID-19 Guatemala Update

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for keeping Guatemala and all of the children and their families in your prayers.

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Guatemala Ministry of Education has suspended classes for 21 days, beginning today. The teachers are meeting to come up with a plan to continue providing food for the children.

We ask you to come alongside us during this time. Our students and their families depend on the food they receive at Escuela Integrada. We are creating a special fund for use in times of crisis, such as we face with COVID-19. We ask for you to consider helping us meet the needs of the children at Escuela Integrada through a donation to this special fund.

During times of crisis or additional need, the support of this fund will provide continued meal support and nutrients for the children of Escuela Integrada. The children eat two full meals at school, and we want to ensure that a disruption in school does not result in increased famine or disease for our families.

Thank you again for your support and prayers. We know that God is in control, and we have faith that we will get through this crisis together.
