Meet the Students

GRACES implements its vision and purpose through supporting the school in education and nutrition programs, counseling, mentoring, and longterm sustainability programs. All of the children attending the school are indigenous and live with the effects of daily prejudice, abuse, poverty and social inequities.

What I want for my future is be what I are. The change I want to see in Guatemala is that to not see more delinquency.

“I have two sisters and my mother doesn’t work and my father is a data enterer. When I grow up I want to be an architect. My goal is to be someone in life and to complete my dreams and to work and give it my all to achieve them. The value that is most important to me is respect. What I want for my family is for us to continue to be united. What I want for my future is t become a professional and have a great future. The change that I want to see in Guatemala is respect and care for the environment. To accomplish this, I will do activities with children and young people to teach them how to care for our country.”

If I could change one thing about Guatemala it would be less pollution so we can have a cleaner environment.”
